This Watermark Technical Specification sets out requirements for bodied safety shut valve for use in hot and cold-water application where:
a) For metallic bodied safety shut valves, the maximum operating pressure does not exceed 1400kPa and maximum temperature does not exceed 85ºC; or
b) For plastic bodied end-of-line safety shut valves, maximum operating pressure does not exceed 1000kPa and maximum temperature does not exceed 60ºC. Plastic safety shut valves shall not be installed on circulating systems.
